Terms of use
These terms apply between you as a customer and Webbfabriken AB for the use of WF SecurityCloud, the customer panel and associated software.
What applies between us
An agreement is entered into when you create an account and accept these terms. By using the service you accept the terms in the version in force at the time of use.
If we change the terms in a way that is to your disadvantage, we notify you in advance by email or in the customer panel. If you continue using the service after the change takes effect, the new terms apply.
What a licence gives you
A licence grants the right to use the software on one device: one computer, one server, one website or one sensor. Licences sit in a shared pool and can be distributed freely between the products.
The licence grants a right of use, not ownership. The software may not be redistributed, reverse engineered or used to build a competing service. Reselling requires a partner agreement.
What you are responsible for
- That the details on your account are accurate and kept current
- That your login credentials and licence keys are kept secure
- That you have the right to install the software on the devices you activate it on
- That the service is not used for unlawful activity or to attack others
- That you do not attempt to circumvent licence limits or place abnormal load on the service
In the event of a serious or repeated breach we have the right to suspend the account. We will contact you first where possible.
Prices and invoicing
Current prices are shown in the customer panel at the time of purchase. Payment is made through Stripe by card or another method offered there.
Prices are stated excluding VAT unless otherwise indicated. We reserve the right to change prices for future periods, with notice in advance.
If payment is not made, licences may be deactivated. Protection on the devices then stops updating and the account is restricted until payment is settled.
Scope and limitations
WF SecurityCloud blocks communication with addresses and domains assessed as known attackers, and stops certain attack patterns such as brute force. The service is a complementary layer of protection.
The service is not an antivirus program, not a firewall and not a guarantee against intrusion. No security protection stops everything, and we do not claim otherwise. You remain responsible for backups, updates and other basic security in your systems.
Limitation of liability
We are responsible for providing the service in a professional manner. Our liability for damages is limited to what you have paid for the service during the last twelve months, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
We are not liable for indirect damage, loss of profit or lost data. Nor are we liable for damage caused by the protection being switched off, circumvented or unable to update for reasons outside our control.
If something is blocked in error, we correct it as soon as we become aware. Please report such cases directly to support.
Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time in the customer panel. Licences already paid for remain valid for the paid period unless otherwise agreed.
We may terminate the agreement with reasonable notice, or with immediate effect in the event of a material breach. If we terminate without a breach on your part, unused prepaid time is refunded.
Law and disputes
Swedish law applies to the agreement. Disputes shall primarily be resolved through negotiation between the parties and secondarily by a Swedish general court.
If you are a consumer, the rights following from mandatory consumer protection legislation apply regardless of what is stated here.
