Accessibility of this website

We want the site to be usable however you browse. Here we describe what has been done, what we know remains, and how to tell us if something does not work.

Measures taken in the build

Accessibility has been a precondition in building this website, not something added afterwards.

  • Semantic HTML with correct heading levels and landmarks
  • A skip-to-content link first in the tab order
  • Visible focus indication on everything reachable by keyboard
  • Menus can be opened and closed with the keyboard, and close with Escape
  • Contrast levels chosen for legibility against a dark background
  • Respects the reduced-motion setting in the operating system
  • No information is conveyed by colour alone
  • Illustrations have text alternatives describing what they show
  • The site works with keyboard only and scales to mobile

Known shortcomings

The website is new and has not yet been reviewed by anyone outside development. We therefore do not know whether everything holds up in practice, only that the intent has been there at every step.

Nor have we carried out a formal WCAG review using assistive technology such as screen readers across every combination of browser and operating system. That is planned.

Run into a barrier?

Please tell us what does not work and how you browse — browser, assistive technology and operating system. That lets us reproduce the problem rather than guess. Write to support@wfsecurity.cloud.

Report an accessibility problem

We take reports seriously and fix what we can.
